  Over a decade ago, users of Lagos-Ibadan Expressway have being clamoring for a pedestrian bridge at Ojodu Berger Bus Stop to check accidents, congestion and robberies. Realistically, such a bridge would reduce risks associated with use of the highway. Although, majority users of this road are residents and workers from both Lagos and Ogun satates; but it remains one of the major Federal roads in the country. About 9 months ago we told you how the people of Ojodu Berger could not wait for the completion of the pedestrian bridge along Lagos-ibadan express way before they start using the bridge; this is due to the fear not to be knock down by oncoming vehicles because this has being the experience of many along the road. The newly built Pedestrian Bridge with construction of Lay-bys, Slip road and segregated bus park at Berger along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway by the Lagos State Government is not only serving the purpose of safety, it has reduce the usual traffics that is being encountered on a daily basis on along the road, most times this makes takes the road users about 35 minutes from Otedola Estate to get to Berger which should not be more than 3 minutes max.
