Brand New Ojodu Berger

About 9 months ago we told you how the people of Ojodu Berger could not wait for the completion of the pedestrian bridge along Lagos-ibadan express way before they start using the bridge; this is due to the fear not to be knock down by oncoming vehicles because this has being the experience of many along the road.

The newly built Pedestrian Bridge with construction of Lay-bys, Slip road and segregated bus park at Berger along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway by the Lagos State Government is not only serving the purpose of safety, it has reduce the usual traffics that is being encountered on a daily basis on along the road, most times this makes takes the road users about 35 minutes from Otedola Estate to get to Berger which should not be more than 3 minutes max. Also, the presence of the bridge has brought beauty to the environment and to Lagos state at large.

The bridge is being commissioned today, Tuesday 16th of May, 2017. The commissioning is part of the achievements to be displayed at the Lagos at 50 celebrations.  

It is a truth that a man cannot receive good from God without a day evil, despite the demolition of the retail market in the community, the people still troop out en mass to appreciate his Excellency, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode for not leaving Ojodu Berger out of his transformation plan to give Lagos a new look. With this, we believe that our governor’s slogan “itesiwaju ilu Eko, loje wa logun” is not just words of mouth but an action word.


Long live Ojodu Berger! Long live Lagos sate! Long live Nigeria!
